February Would End But Never Mind

Having reached your hometown on February 1st,

I remembered the way you talked to me in French.

You said, “Salut!” in a soft tone that a man had ever done to me.

I would never have thought of bad things but great things.

We were young, we were wild.

We were everything that everyone could never think about.

Ohh, Baby, It was February.

It was you and me in the top of the world,

racing with the fate, through the place where things would be always true.

Baby we sought for that place, we really did.

We only knew the night, never seen the dawn coming.

We only saw the moon, never needed the sun.

We only looked at each other, never glanced at anything else.

Oh, How we were so happy.

You said, “Je T’aime.” and it sounded very cruel because you might want to stop loving me.

How I was not brave enough to say that I loved you too.

No, I could not.

We were young, we were wild.

We were everything that everyone could think about.

“Never break me down.” I begged.

But February would end and you had to come back,

Back to the reality and forget what had happened.

Oh, how cruel! How terrible!

You said that we would meet again in the future.

Darling there would be no future if we could not break the boundaries.

You lied, well, nature told me.

However, you know I’d love you forever.

Maybe.

We were young, we were wild.

We were no longer everything that everyone could think about.
